Ask your followers: “I hope you will join me doing these 3 simple things:”

  3. Make & share your own video. Rocky deserves to live.

Step 1. If you need ideas, here are some suggested reasons for supporting Rocky’s clemency:

  1. He is not guilty of the crime he was sentenced for.

  2. Mr. Myers is not guilty of the crime for which he sits on death row. There was no physical evidence tying him to the crime, witnesses that testified changed their stories multiple times, and since the trial at least one witness has admitted he lied under pressure from police

  3. There is no physical evidence tying him to this crime.

  4. I don’t believe he should die when we know witnesses against him lied at trial.

  5. The State’s “eyewitnesses” all changed stories more than once; and one witness acknowledges lying on the witness stand to implicate Mr. Myers.

  6. Mr. Myers was the next door neighbor to the victim in this case--she knew him. She survived to call 911 and to speak to first responders--she gave a physical description of her attacker more than once--she NEVER indicated it was her neighbor, a man she knew.

  7. The jury that heard his case voted for life, and elected judges should not be allowed to overturn the decision of a jury.

  8. I don’t believe that someone should die based on the decision of a single, elected judge—we should honor the jury’s vote and give him life.

  9. He is only on death row because of judicial override—a process Alabama ended in 2017 after Florida’s judicial override process was found unconstitutional by the Supreme Court. It was wrong before 2017 and it is wrong now.

  10. He is intellectually disabled and it violates the Constitution to execute someone with an intellectual disability.

  11. Mr. Myers is intellectually disabled and should not be eligible for the death penalty under Atkins v. Virginia, a Supreme Court case decided in 2002 that ruled it was unconstitutional to execute intellectually disabled individuals.

  12. His death sentence is the result of a broken, unfair system.

  13. He did not receive a fair trial.

  14. Mr. Myers was abandoned by his attorney and he has not received a fair appeal.

  15. Race played a huge part in his case resulting in an unfair process. He is a black man that was tried by a jury of 11 white people and his lawyer had ties to a white supremacist group

  16. His lawyer at trial failed him and his lawyer on appeal completely abandoned him.
